You can now use Boardingware’s OpenAPI to feed attendance data back to your SIS or other systems for better reporting and visibility.

Since Boardingware was founded in 2014 schools have loved to use the Staff Mobile App for taking attendance because it’s simple to use, portable and it can work offline. Every year, it’s popularity grows;

Roll and Attendance Feedback Over Time

But until recently, there was a big aching problem with it.

The data from a roll check was kept in Boardingware and created a silo of information which is something our customers hate (especially IT teams).

As schools continue to strive for a more data-driven approach to care, you want this data to flow back into other systems like your SIS (such as Blackbaud, iSAMS or Synergetic) so you can build reports and combine it with the regular attendance information you take in classrooms.

The roll data that Boardingware helps you to collect outside the classroom can help schools with key questions such as:

  • Who is showing up to meals and are the kids eating properly?
  • Who is consistently on time for check-ins at night or are there students we should keep an eye on?
  • Are students showing up to their extracurricular activities or not?
  • How engaged are our students within the community?
  • Are our students showing up for registration?

So today we have some good news that IT teams all over the world will appreciate;

You can now use Boardingware’s OpenAPI to feed attendance data back to your SIS or other systems for better reporting and visibility.
